Payment is made at the time of your visit. We accept personal checks, debit cards, credit cards (Visa/Mastercard/Discover), or cash. At the end of each visit, I will provide you with a “superbill” charge sheet to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Initial 1-hour consultation: $250

Follow-up visits:
1-hour: $250
½ -hour: $125

E-mail and telephone questions for Dr. Abrams taking five minutes or less are free to established patients. Phone and e-mail consultations are also available upon request and will be charged at $60 per 15 minutes.

Inquiries by phone or e-mail about my practice from prospective patients are also welcome.

Insurance

I am currently a provider for Blue Shield, Healthnet PPO, Pacificare PPO, United Healthcare, Aetna, First Health/CCN and Blue Cross in the “non-preferred” category. I expect patients with Medicare to be able to be reimbursed for my services at 80% of Medicare charges after my application with Medicare is processed (by June 2008). I do not contract with HMO’s or accept MediCal.
